• Ensure that VAM meets its statutory obligations in relation to Health and Safety Legislation.
• Provide advice and guidance on Health and Safety matters to management and staff.
• Oversee risk assessment activities including COSHH and development of policies and procedures to support these areas.
• Develop and provide training and induction to staff and third parties working on site.
• Perform investigations and prepare reports relating to Health and Safety occurrences and near misses in the business.
• Provide support on Health and Safety matters to the wider Vista Group as required including travel to other sites in Europe.
• Any other reasonable request from management in line with the Health and Safety Manager role.

• NEBOSH General Certificate in Health and Safety or equivalent
• Strong working knowledge of UK H&S Regulation
• Experience of using online integrated management tools.
• Experience in a highly regulated environment i.e aviation, nuclear, rail, construction
• Proficient with Microsoft Office software.

Skills/Experience:

• Experience with Centrik software.
• Experience of working in Part 145
• Membership of IOSH or equivalent industry body.
