A central, dedicated, procurement team based out of Malta oversees and leads all company global negotiations and procurement agreements. We are seeking an experienced and driven Purchasing Manager to lead and complement this team of industry professionals.

Your Responsibilities

Reporting to the Purchasing Director, your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage stock locations across the globe;
  • Regular contact with suppliers and vendors to maintain and optimize the services provided;
  • Lead a team of Purchasing Executives and stores coordinators to ensure that processes, procedures and policies are adequately implemented and followed efficiently;
  • Recruit and upskill team members as necessary;
  • Perform team performance reviews in line with company standards;
  • Monitor the wider market for emerging opportunities from vendors;
  • Manage third-part contractual agreements as required;
  • Ensure daily activities remain efficient and compliant with company policies and procedures;
  • Lead the development and implementation of strategies and systems to optimise outcomes as required by the business;
  • Engage in the workplace with enthusiasm, perseverance, a positive attitude and flexibility, to compliment Vista’s organisational culture.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Self-driven and eager to learn as you prove own capabilities in the role;
  • Passionate about leading and upskilling individuals;
  • Previous experience in a procurement / stores role;
  • Previous management experience is considered an asset;
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, planning and organisational skills;
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment;
