We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Finance Transformation team. This Financial Analyst will play a critical role in the transition to a more efficient and data-driven finance function by leading data migration, process optimization, and decision support through data analytics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, highly experienced in data transformation, and the ability to collaborate with both finance and technical teams.

Your Responsibilities

 

  • Collaborate with ERP teams to extract, validate, and reconcile large datasets during finance transformation projects.
  • Design data migration process by developing and implementing best practices for data migration activities such as extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) data between legacy and new financial systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite), ensuring consistency, efficiency, and scalability for future migrations.
  • Perform data mapping and ensure accurate migration of critical financial data such as Chart of Accounts (COA), vendor and customer master date, fixed assets, transaction history, and financial statements.
  • Perform variance analysis and reconciliation to ensure data integrity during financial system migrations, focusing on key financial data points such as general ledger balances, intercompany transactions, and financial statements.
  • Assist in the implementation of finance transformation projects, including ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite) and other technology enhancements.
  • Work closely with finance process owners to help redesign and optimize key financial processes such as financial reporting, budgeting, and period end close.
  • Analyze financial data and processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement during the transformation process.
  • Provide detailed financial data analysis to support key decision-makers during the finance transformation process.
  • Act as a liaison between finance and IT to ensure that transformation initiatives are well-communicated and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Provide clear and concise updates, reports, and presentations to senior leadership on the progress of transformation initiatives and their financial impact.
  • Participate in workshops, user acceptance testing, and training sessions to ensure smooth implementation and adoption of new financial systems and processes.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Involvement in finance transformation or system implementation projects is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and general ledger management.
  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field and/or a Professional Certfification (e.g. ACA or ACCA) would be preferable.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, with the ability to perform data analysis, data transformation and reconciliation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and provide value-added financial analysis to support decision-making.
