Job Profile

Vista Aircraft Maintenance is the in-house maintenance provider for the Vista Members’ fleet, which comprises over 300 light, super mid-size, long-range and ultra-long-range aircraft. Due to continued growth, we are now recruiting for unlicenced engineers at our Munich base. This position is a Monday - Friday, permanent position

Your Responsibilities

  • Support line managers by performing aircraft maintenance tasks in line with the aircraft maintenance data provided
  • Work on components and systems of airframe, structure and engines
  • Checking the functionality of all systems as well as replacing defect components
  • Perform troubleshooting and initiate required corrective actions
  • Prepare, execute, follow-up and document all work steps carried out in compliance with airworthiness and current air law regulations and requirements
  • Being ready for AOG support and willing to travel abroad
  • Provide effective handovers
  • Ensure all calibrated equipment and tooling is correctly stored, calibrated, labelled and recorded
  • General housekeeping of shop floors to maintain company standards

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Completed a Civil Aviation Apprenticeship, Armed Forces Aircraft training or Basic Engineering Apprenticeship;
  • Ability to pass airside clearance and obtain a ZUP within Germany;
  • Basic knowledge of EASA/CAA, HSE legislation;
  • Basic IT knowledge;
  • Ability to work under own initiative making recommendations for improvements as appropriate;
  • Have the right to work in Europe or the United Kingdom without restriction;
  • Good command of the English language, both written and spoken;
  • Must be eligible for an airside pass;
  • Be highly motivated, a great team player with a high level of attention to detail.
