As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Senior Planning Engineer to join our team in Munich. In this key role, you will oversee work planning, collaborate with production and logistics teams, and supervise a team of Planning Engineers.

Your Responsibilities

  • Assist in preparing occurrence reports related to maintenance activities.
  • Supervise the Process Engineering/Documentation Department (PEDD) Engineers and Planning Engineers, overseeing work order notifications, openings, control, and closure.
  • Act as the main coordinator between Production, Logistics, and Contractors, ensuring smooth planning and documentation workflows.
  • Safeguard and manage all aircraft documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Establish and maintain work schedules for team members, ensuring all training and developmental needs are met.
  • Oversee the completion and accuracy of logbook entries and related documentation.
  • Assess team members’ development, ensuring the necessary training is provided.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience in a relevant aviation environment.
  • Previous supervisory or senior team member experience is preferable.
  • Ability to pass airside clearance and obtain a ZUP within Germany
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an aviation setting, focusing on aircraft technical documentation or planning.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft systems and components.
  • Knowledge of EASA regulations, manufacturer maintenance programs, and Minimum Equipment List (MEL) usage within Maintenance Control and Planning.
  • Familiarity with CAMP/MRO program requirements.
  • Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, email, and web-based applications.
  • Fluency in both German and English, spoken and written.
