Job Profile

The Vista Members’ fleet comprises light, super mid-size, long-range and ultra-long-range aircraft. The Maintenance team provides a robust regional support network for Vista’s growing fleet, working across 7 maintenance sites with one of the leading base maintenance facilities in the world, taking care since 2004.

Your Responsibilities

 

  • Ensure compliance with Part 145 Safety and Maintenance procedures at all times, challenging any unsafe acts and pursue improvements in safety culture and behaviour at the Line Stations within scope of management.
  • Maximise the dispatchability and availability of aircraft maintained.
  • Always present a professional and respectful attitude and approach to VistaJet employees and customers.
  • Carry out aircraft maintenance in accordance with approved data and up to date maintenance instructions in a safe and professional manner.
  • Collaborate closely with Part 145 management team to ensure maintenance expectations are managed and delivered across boundaries.
  • Liaise with VistaJet MOC and other internal and external stakeholders as required to ensure all support solutions are effectively explored and delivered.
  • Work closely with Part 145 management team to assist in the development and implementation of company maintenance strategy.
  • Building functional capability and productivity across the Line Maintenance team through the development, motivation, loyalty, and coaching of team members using a consistent and positive approach to all people management activities.
  • Oversight of the Part 145 Line Maintenance Bonded Stores and Tool inventory within Line Stations in scope of management.
  • Any other reasonable request from management in line with the Line Maintenance Manager role.

 

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as ‘Line Maintenance’ orientated Aircraft Engineer.
  • Holds a minimum of an EASA B1 license, but preferably holding an EASA B1 & B2 license.
  • Previous man management experience in an aviation or production environment.
  • Must have a full, clean UK driving license.
  • Must hold a passport and be willing to travel.
  • Approvals and recency on Bombardier Global Series or Challenger 850 / 605 / 350.
  • Computer literate with experience of using Microsoft Office.
  • Must be able to inspire and motivate the team to work efficiently and diligently acting as a credible role model at all times.
  • Must be able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of Part 145 (and company MOE) requirements.
  • Able to demonstrate thorough knowledge of all relevant security, health and safety standards including safety reporting procedures.
  • Able to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to train Line Staff members on regulations, software and technical aspects of Line Maintenance procedures and processes.
  • Experience in planning Scheduled/Unscheduled Maintenance and deploying AOG recovery teams in a high-pressure international environment.
