Welcome to the Vista Technology Internship based in Mayfair, London. By the end of the internship, you would have gained hands-on experience in product management, roadmap execution, data analysis, and stakeholder communication, with a tangible portfolio piece to showcase. 

 

This internship will begin on the 17th of June 2025, and run for 10 weeks. 

 

10-Week Product Management Internship Plan

 

Weeks 1-2: Onboarding & Product Fundamentals

  • Introduction to VistaJet’s business model, products, and customers.
  • Training on Agile, JIRA, stakeholder management, and user personas.
  • Shadowing PMs in sprint planning & analysing customer feedback.
  • Deliverable: Competitive analysis & initial observations report.

 

Weeks 3-4: Deep Dive into a Product Area & Data Analysis

  • Assigned to a specific product feature or project.
  • Learning about KPIs, user behaviour, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Exposure to SQL, Looker, and analytics tools.
  • Deliverable: Data insights report with recommendations.

 

Weeks 5-6: Roadmap, Prioritization & UX Principles

  • Understanding roadmap planning, MVP development, and UX best practices.
  • Collaborating with designers on wireframes and user journeys.
  • Deliverable: Feature proposal & mock wireframe.

 

Weeks 7-8: Writing User Stories & Go-to-Market Strategy

  • Hands-on experience with user stories, acceptance criteria & backlog grooming.
  • Learning about product launches, internal training & customer adoption.
  • Deliverable: Draft user stories & communication plan for a feature release.

 

Weeks 9-10: Capstone Project & Career Development

  • Presenting a product improvement proposal to stakeholders.
  • One-on-one feedback sessions with mentors and product leaders.
  • Deliverable: Final project report & reflection on key learnings.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • A student, pursuing a relevant degree.
  • A self-motivated, dependable, enthusiastic, flexible individual with excellent analytical, communication and organizational skills. 
  • An adept problem solver and able to work well under pressure, remaining calm in a fast-paced environment. 
  • Ability to work well in a highly transactional company, able to prioritize tasks, whilst also meeting deadlines. 
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with the team and internal departments. 
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
