Due to continued growth, we are now looking for a HR Generalist to join our Vista Aircraft Maintenance Baden-Baden GmbH team on a permamnent basis, working Monday-Friday. As an HR Generalist, you will support the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to payroll coordination and employee relations. Acting as a key contact for staff and managers, you’ll manage HR processes, maintain data in systems like SAP SuccessFactors, and collaborate with international HR colleagues. 

Your Responsibilities

  • Contact person for superiors and employees
  • Support for the entire employee life cycle
  • Preparation of contract documents and references
  • Organization of and participation in employee and feedback meetings
  • Data maintenance of relevant data in files and systems such as SAP SuccessFactors or the time recording system
  • Preparation of monthly payroll runs in close cooperation with the payroll office
  • Creation and publication of job advertisements
  • Recruiting new employees in collaboration with Talent Acquisition
  • Preparation of evaluations and statistics
  • Collaboration with the international team of colleagues in HR
  • Taking on projects

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Completed commercial training or completed studies, further HR-specific training is welcome
  • Experience in aviation is an advantage
  • Well-founded knowledge of German labor and social security law
  • Initiative and the ability to work independently after the induction phase
  • Trustworthiness and empathetic communication skills
  • Structured way of working and at the same time able to think outside the box
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills are essential
  • Confident handling of the MS Office package and general software tools
  • Certificate of good conduct without entry for obtaining a ZÜP in Germany; ideally already in possession of a valid background check (ZÜP)
  • Authorization to work in the EU/Germany
