Vista Flight Support provides the operating and planning system as well as services related to flight preparation. These include flight and route planning, and trip support services ranging from all ground arrangements to permits and fuel.

 

Much like the travel plans of Vista’s clients, our horizons and resources are always expanding, which is why Vista Flight Support is seeking a highly motivated Global Security Specialist to join our global team.

 

the main purpose of this position is to monitor and analyse worldwide security events, assess flight risks, maintain security databases, provide security information to stakeholders, and support tactical teams with security lists and updates.

Your Responsibilities

  • Maintain comprehensive databases containing security information for various worldwide locations. 
  • Ensure databases are updated regularly with the latest security intelligence and assessments. 
  • Keep the global avoidance area document up to date with relevant information. 
  • Incorporate new EASA CZIB publications and other regulatory security updates into the document as required.
  • Respond to requests from different stakeholders within the group for security information.
  • Provide timely and accurate security briefings and updates as required.
  • Maintain and update security lists for flights, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Facilitate requests from Tactical and VFS teams regarding identified security frameworks.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all security-related inquiries and issues.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to address security concerns promptly.
  • Identify and escalate critical security situations to the Head of Global Security, Director of Operations, and Director of VFS for immediate action as needed.
  • Implement emergency response protocols as necessary.
  • Organize and host monthly meetings to discuss global security updates, challenges, and strategies with all applicable AOC and VISTA stakeholders. 
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders. 

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Proven experience in aviation security or a related field. 
  • Strong understanding of global security threats and risk assessment methodologies. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and in fast-paced environments. 
  • Proficiency in security databases and systems. 
  • Knowledge of relevant aviation regulations and guidelines. 
  • Certification in security management or related areas is preferred. 

This position requires working hours flexibility and is primarily office-based, with occasional travel as needed.
