We are looking for a Tactical Purchasing Executive to be part of our expanding Purchasing Team. The role will be based out of our Malta office and will play a key role in the overall procurement process as well as in the management of our global network of suppliers.

• Coordinate with Client Services on special client requests.
• Coordinate with Private Dining on specific requests/requirements relating to onboard catering.
• Purchase items in line with pre-set budgets across our global network.
• Track and follow orders to ensure a timely delivery.
• Manage adhoc requests that may be raised by our stores team across the globe.
• Assist in coordinating activities to ensure that department objectives are met. 
• Submit and track recharge requests by cooperating with our finance team.
• Ensure smooth cross-functional interaction with the appropriate stakeholders.
• Assist and support Purchasing Directors in developing and implementing the purchasing strategy for the business.
• Ensure consistent alignment with company policy and procedures. 
• Assist in analysing logistical problems and sourcing alternative solutions.

• Tertiary level of education and / or minimum of 1 year in the procurement of supplies and services (ideally both).
• Strong negotiation, analytical, planning, and organizational skills.
• Strong commercial focus and business-critical analysis.
• Creative and innovative thinking.
• Great communication skills and good command of the English language.
• Ability to work in a highly dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work under own initiative, independently as well as within a team.
• Willing to travel on duty as required.
• Previous experience in aviation and SAP is considered as an asset.
