VistaJet GmbH is seeking a dedicated and experienced Airworthiness Review Staff member to join our CAMO team in Hamburg. In this critical role, you’ll ensure the continued airworthiness of our diverse fleet by conducting thorough inspections and issuing Airworthiness Review Certificates. Your Responsibilities

  • To ensure possession of an ARS valid authorization with the required scope work
  • To perform both the documental and the physical surveys as per VistaJet established procedures; to establish the depth of the inspections (both documental and physical) which can go beyond the depth
  • To ensure that all conditions for an adequate inspection (both documental and physical) are met
  • Ensure that support of personnel appropriately qualified in accordance with Part-145 is made available during the physical survey, to perform and release any maintenance tasks requested by the ARS
  • Ensure availability of suitable accommodation, whereby the continuing airworthiness records can be reviewed
  • To produce the compliance report, detailing all items checked and the outcome of the
  • To guarantee that he/she is independent of the airworthiness management process or has the overall
  • Issue the Airworthiness Review Certificate or ARC recommendation upon acceptance of corrective actions applied against the reported findings
  • For the issuance of the airworthiness review certificate (ARC) or recommendation, as applicable when the aircraft is considered airworthy in relation to the scope of the airworthiness review performed
  • Extend Airworthiness Review Certificates
  • Accountability in issuing the certificate for the review of airworthiness

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operating practices
  • Airworthiness Review Staff nominated by VistaJet can only be issued an authorisation when formally accepted by the LBA thru the approval of the present position
  • Knowledge of safety management systems based on the EU management system requirements (including compliance monitoring) and ICAO Annex 19
  • Five years relevant work experience in the maintenance of airworthiness at least
  • A relevant engineering degree or an aircraft maintenance technician qualification Part 66 with additional education acceptable to LBA. (degree from aeronautical, mechanical, electrical, electronic, avionic or other studies relevant to the maintenance and continuing airworthiness of aircraft/aircraft components
  • Knowledge of applicable regulations (National Law LBA, Part-M, Part-CAMO, Part-145, EU 376/2014, relevant parts of Part-21 & 965/2012)
  • Applicable determinations from Air-OPS amongst others
  • Good command of English language, both written and spoken
  • Be highly motivated, a great team player with a high level of attention to detail
