Job Profile

We are seeking an experienced Senior Insurance Analyst to join our in-house risk and insurance team. The key aspect of this role is to act as business partner to the various stakeholders internally. In this role you would be  managing and analyzing the company’s insurance programs, supporting risk mitigation efforts, and ensuring appropriate coverage across the business. The Senior Insurance Analyst will work cross-functionally with departments including legal, finance, operations, and procurement to assess risk exposure, manage claims, and support insurance procurement and compliance.

Your Responsibilities

Insurance Program Management

    • Assist in the design, placement, and renewal of corporate insurance programs (e.g., property, casualty, D&O, cyber, auto, workers’ compensation).
    • Analyze policy terms, conditions, and coverage adequacy in alignment with the company’s risk profile.
    • Assist in the director insurances in the renewal submission

Claims Management

    • Oversee the reporting, tracking, and resolution of insurance claims.
    • Liaise with adjusters, insurers, internal stakeholders, and legal counsel on open claims.
    • Maintain accurate claim documentation and ensure timely communication with relevant parties.

Risk Analysis & Reporting

    • Evaluate and quantify risk exposures across business operations.
    • Support internal stakeholders in contract reviews for insurance and indemnity clauses.
    • Develop insurance-related reports, dashboards, and analyses for leadership.

Compliance & Documentation

    • Ensure compliance with insurance requirements for business operations, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
    • Maintain certificates of insurance, policy documents, and claims records.
    • Support internal audits and external reporting as needed.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

    • Advise procurement, legal, and business units on insurance implications in vendor contracts and business deals.
    • Participate in enterprise risk assessments and continuity planning initiatives.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5–8+ years of experience in insurance, risk management, or related field; in-house or brokerage experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance policies and risk transfer mechanisms.
  • Experience managing claims and working with insurance brokers and carriers.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with risk/insurance management systems (e.g., RMIS).
  • Professional designations (ARM, CPCU, CRM) a plus.
