This is a hybrid role based in Malta or Lisbon. The Crew Planner reports to the Director of Crew Planning and their main role is the development of crew rosters. 

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Create and publish rosters in accordance with the operator’s rostering policies ensuring all aspects of the policy are respected.
  • Create and publish a crew training roster in accordance with the operator’s training and rostering policies including Simulator training as well as recording travel/hotel requirements.
  • Create and publish a crew training roster in accordance with the operator’s training and rostering policies. Provide the operator’s crew scheduling team a required line check report to action in accordance with the operator’s training requirements.
  • Provide monthly reports to the operator on all training expiries as per the operator’s requirements.
  • Provide monthly reports on active crew ratio to the operator for the purpose of resource planning.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the Senior Crew Planner or the Director of Crew Planning.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • An experienced Crew Planner that is committed to maintaining outstanding levels of customer service - even when under pressure you remain dynamic and flexible.
  • You’re highly determined, a quick learner and able to adopt a lateral approach to problem solving.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English.
  • You’re keen to work with your teammates to do a great job, but also able to work independently when required.
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office and other data processing applications. Experience with Crew Planning Software would be beneficial.
  • A working knowledge of legal requirements would be beneficial.
