Job Profile

VistaJet’s Operations Control Center (OCC) manages the day-of operations and scheduling for the Group’s iconic silver and red fleet of super-midsize, long range and ultra-long range business jets. Our multinational OCC team combines Operations, Crew Scheduling, Travel, and Maintenance Operations Control.

As a Flight Approval Coordinator, you'll be responsible for the initial risk and feasibility assessment of all new flights as well as changes to existing flights. Working closely with the Duty Managers (DMs) and Flight Ops Management (FOMOD) he/she also contributes to ensuring that the fleet is optimized for a safe and economically efficient operation.

Your Responsibilities

  • Conduct operational feasibility and approval of all new flight bookings and changes, considering flight planning and optimum flight path evaluation, including runway performance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with international and national regulations, such as operating hours, NOTAMs, and aircraft availability.
  • Coordinate with Crew Scheduling, MXC, FOM, and Sales, RM, AM/CS Teams as necessary to facilitate trip feasibility.
  • Maintain continuous communication to provide options for new trip requests and changes based on aircraft and crew availability.
  • Collaborate with the Safety Department and appropriate OCC Teams to ensure the safety of crews, customers, and aircraft by monitoring security, restrictions, and hazardous situations globally.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • 3 years’ experience within Commercial Aviation Operations environment in at least one of the following or a combination thereof: Flight Dispatch; International trip planning;
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, team-oriented, detail-focused, and proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Flexibility for various shifts is essential.
  • Proficient in planning and organizing work, utilizing logical processes to visualize and achieve goals while adapting as needed.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to develop and maintain relationships that enhance team growth and productivity.
  • Collaborative mindset, working towards a common purpose to benefit both the team and the business.
  • Consistent in delivering results, ensuring follow-through on tasks to support team and operational success.
  • Solid job knowledge and technical understanding, continuously enhancing skills and responsibilities within the role.
