Vista Aircraft Maintenance (VAM)

 

Vista Aircraft Maintenance provides both line and base maintenance for the fleet. The team ensures aircraft safety, reliability, and availability through rigorous standards, proactive maintenance, and a global network of facilities. 

 

Working across different specialties, VAM prepares aircraft for every flight with a focus on precision, quality, and compliance. By maintaining the highest standards in both safety and attention to detail, the team plays a critical role in ensuring consistent fleet performance and a seamless client experience. 

 

As a Certifying Staff B1/B2, you will play a key role in maintaining the safety and airworthiness of our business jet fleet. Responsible for carrying out and certifying maintenance activities, troubleshooting technical issues, and releasing aircraft to service, you will ensure all work is completed in line with EASA regulations and the highest industry standards.

 

Your Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and servicing of our business jet fleet as part of line & base maintenance
  • Execution of work on components and systems of airframe, structure and engines or on avionics components as well as signal and data lines
  • Functionality check of all systems as well as replacement of defect components
  • Troubleshooting and initiation of required corrective actions
  • Independent preparation, execution, follow-up and documentation of all work carried out in compliance with airworthiness and current air law regulations and requirements
  • Testing and release of aircraft in compliance with current air law regulations and within the specified internal qualification
  • AOG support and willingness to travel abroad

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • EASA Part-66 CAT-B1 aircraft mechanic license plus several years of practical experience, additional B2 license is beneficial
  • Fluent in written & spoken English; knowledge of German is an advantage
  • Confident using aircraft manuals as well as MRO-software
  • Work independently and being resilient, reliable, flexible and able to work in a team
  • Valid driver’s license
